Before You Start

Prepare your account and client

You do not need to study route protocols or complex settings before your first setup. Prepare a browser that can access the user panel normally, and confirm that your device runs Windows, macOS, iOS, Android or Linux. This guide covers common desktop and mobile platforms in detail. Linux setup varies considerably by distribution and command-line environment, so after completing the account and plan steps, open the user panel for the relevant client instructions.

The subscription link lets a client read the route configuration provided by JNVPN; it serves a different purpose from a regular web address. Get the actual link only from the user panel after signing in. Do not copy one from search results, unfamiliar pages in chat messages or any other account-free source. A subscription contains personal configuration data, so import it only on your own devices and avoid forwarding or publicly displaying it.

The steps below follow the order for first-time use. Complete the account, plan and subscription steps in one session, then read the section for your current device. If you are only changing devices, you can usually continue from “Get Your Subscription” without placing another order.

Account

Create an Account and Open the Panel

Open JNVPN’s account creation page and set a username and password you plan to use long term. No email address is required. Your username and password will be the main credentials for the user panel, so choose a username you can recognize and use a password that is different from those used on other websites. Submit the form when finished; the page will either open the user panel or direct you back to the sign-in page.

If the page asks you to sign in again, use the username and password you just set. After signing in, check that your own username appears at the top or in the account area before continuing to the plan steps. This helps prevent an order from being placed on the wrong account when an old browser session is still active. On a shared device, sign out of the panel after setup instead of letting the browser keep your session.

If you forget your password, are repeatedly sent back to the sign-in page or your credentials are not recognized, do not keep resubmitting the form. First check the username’s capitalization and keyboard input mode, then visit the Help Center for account troubleshooting. Once the account is created, choose a plan for your usage in the same user panel.

Plan

Choose a Plan and Place Your Order

In the plans section of the user panel, start by choosing the option that matches your actual data usage. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. If your usage is steady and you want a fixed allowance each month, a monthly subscription is easier to manage. When upgrading, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days, so you can start with the tier closest to your current needs.

If your usage is occasional, consider data packages that remain available until used and never expire: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Data packages and monthly subscriptions are measured differently, so focus on usage frequency rather than comparing the one-time prices alone. All plans support unlimited devices, but simultaneous traffic across devices shares the available data in the account.

After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page. Check the plan name, data allowance and amount, then select an available payment method—Alipay, WeChat or USDT—and complete the payment. Return to the user panel afterward; do not rely only on the payment page to determine whether the service is active. Use the service status shown in the account overview. If it has not updated, refresh the panel or sign in again. If you still have questions, submit the order details through the ticket portal.

JNVPN offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. Plan details, data resets and upgrade information are available on the plans page; this guide covers only the steps needed for your first connection. Once the account overview shows an active service, continue to get your subscription.

Subscription

Get Your Subscription from the Panel

Open the account overview in the user panel and find the subscription or client configuration section. When the service is active, the panel provides options to copy the subscription, import it into a client or open the download area. Signing in through the browser on the device where you plan to use the service is usually the simplest approach. You can also copy it on a trusted device and transfer it to another device through your own secure method.

After you click Copy Subscription, the system clipboard will contain a personal link. Its format usually resembles a web address, but the contents differ for every account. The sample below is included only to help you recognize the format; it cannot connect and is not a real JNVPN address:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

You do not need to open the link in a browser after copying it, and you should not edit any characters. Paste the complete content into the subscription import screen of your client. If the copy button does nothing, allow the browser to use the clipboard or use the manual copy option provided by the panel. Do not copy only part of the link or treat the trailing parameters as removable notes.

A subscription link contains your account’s route configuration and should be protected like a password. If it has been displayed publicly, sent to an untrusted person or used by a device you did not add, stop sharing it and update the subscription through the user panel or a support ticket. For failed updates, expired links or configuration refresh issues, see the Help Center’s connection and troubleshooting section.

Client

Import the Subscription by Platform

JNVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. This page does not provide static installer links; clients and their subscription entry points are kept in the user panel after sign-in. This allows the panel to show the currently available option for your account and platform, while avoiding files that no longer support your system. Open the client area in the panel, choose your device platform and follow the instructions to obtain the client.

Windows

Desktop Subscription Clients

On Windows, install and launch the desktop client provided in the user panel. On first launch, you will usually see subscription management, configuration management or an Add Configuration option. Choose an option such as “Import from Link,” paste the complete subscription link you copied earlier, give the configuration a recognizable name and run an update.

After the update, the client will show a list of available routes. Do not run other network proxy tools at the same time, as their system proxy settings may override each other. Choose a route suited to your current needs, then return to the main window and enable the connection. If Windows displays a network access permission prompt, verify that it comes from the client you just installed before allowing access.

macOS

Menu Bar or Desktop Subscription Clients

On macOS, obtain the supported client from the user panel, install it and launch it from Applications. The system may ask you to approve a network extension or configuration permission; these are required for the client to establish a network connection. Follow the system dialog to approve it, then open the client’s subscription or configuration page.

Choose Add Remote Subscription, paste the link and save it, then click Update or Refresh. When the routes appear, select the target node and enable the connection from the main client window or menu bar icon. If the app says it is connected but the browser has not changed, close other apps controlling the system proxy and reconnect. There is no need to repeatedly delete the subscription.

Android

Mobile Clients with Subscription Import

On Android, open the client area in the user panel and obtain the supported client as instructed. After launching it, open the configuration, subscription or profile page, tap Add, choose Import from Link and paste your personal subscription. Save it, run an update manually and confirm that the route names appear in the list.

Return to the client home screen, choose a route and turn on the connection switch. Android will display a system-level connection authorization dialog; after approval, a connection indicator will usually appear in the status bar. If switching apps causes the connection to pause, check the device’s background activity and battery-saving settings. Menu locations vary widely by manufacturer; detailed guidance is available in the Help Center, and system-level tuning is outside this page’s scope.

iOS

iOS Clients with Configuration Import

On an iPhone or iPad, sign in to the user panel and use the method shown for the iOS section to obtain the supported client. In the client, look for Add Subscription, Import from URL or Remote Configuration. Paste the complete subscription link and save it. The first time you enable the connection, iOS will request permission to add a network configuration; approve it through the system prompt.

After importing successfully, refresh the subscription and choose a node from the route list. Return to the main screen, enable the connection and confirm that the system status area shows a connection state. If another similar client is already configured, enable only one at a time; switching between multiple network configurations makes the active state difficult to identify.

Verify

Connect to a Route and Check the Result

Once the subscription has been updated, choose a node that matches your use case and target region, then enable the client connection. On your first use, avoid switching frequently. Keep one route connected steadily and check whether the client status changes from disconnected to connected. If the client offers system proxy, global connection or smart routing modes, start with its default recommended setting for ordinary use rather than changing several options without knowing what they do.

After connecting, open JNVPN’s IP lookup page and check whether the current exit location has changed. Then visit the website or app you actually plan to use and confirm that it opens, signs in and keeps loading normally. The client switch alone cannot confirm that every app is using the current route, so check the exit location and test the actual use case consecutively.

If the exit location has not changed, disconnect and reconnect once, and make sure no other client is enabled at the same time. If the route connects but the target service is unstable, return to the route list, choose another route in the same region and check the exit location again. Streaming, AI Tools and remote work differ in their sensitivity to region, long-lived connections and network fluctuation, so do not judge every scenario from the result of a single webpage.

Once the connection is confirmed, the initial setup is complete. In future, opening the client usually requires only updating the subscription, choosing a route and enabling the connection. When changing devices, sign in to the user panel again to obtain the client and personal subscription. For route types, how AI Tools determine region, development environment settings or more systematic troubleshooting, continue with the AI Acceleration Handbook. It covers underlying principles and complex scenarios without repeating them here.

  • Client status: Confirm that the connection switch is enabled and the current route name is clearly visible.
  • Exit location: Open the IP lookup page and check that the displayed region matches the selected route.
  • Actual use: Open the website or app you plan to use and confirm that sign-in, loading and the ongoing connection work normally.
  • One connection: During troubleshooting, keep only one client active to prevent multiple system proxies from overriding one another.
After Setup: Common Issues

Common Questions at a Glance

Is an email address required to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, and store your credentials securely. Avoid keeping a signed-in session on a shared device.
Why are no routes shown after importing the subscription?
First confirm that the account service is active. Then check that the subscription link was pasted in full and run an update manually in the client. If the list is still empty, copy the subscription again from the account overview and import it once more.
Can I open the subscription link directly in a browser?
Usually, there is no reason to. Paste the subscription link into a client that supports remote subscriptions or configuration import; the client will read it and update the route list.
Can one account be used on multiple devices?
Yes. JNVPN supports unlimited devices. Each device can sign in to the user panel to obtain the client and import the personal subscription; traffic across devices is counted against the account plan.
What should I do if the connection works but the target app still will not load?
Check the exit location first, then switch to another route in the same region and make sure no other network client is active. If the issue continues, visit the Help Center and troubleshoot by app type and operating system.
